There are many types of motorcycle intercoms, from expensive ones to cheap ones you can buy online.
We lend intercoms free of charge to customers riding in groups of two or more.
We are sorry, but because it is a free option, we cannot offer an expensive model.
However, we do not use unknown, cheap products sold online. We choose reliable products, so please don’t worry!
Our intercom: SENA J30
We use the SENA J30. For normal use, it works perfectly well. It is durable and the sound is clear.
Please note that the J30 is a Japan-only model. The voice guidance is in Japanese only, so you may feel confused if you don’t understand Japanese. Here is a simple guide.
Quick guide
1. Power on / off
Press and hold these two buttons. The light will first turn red.
2. Standby mode
If you leave it as it is, the light will turn blue. This means it is waiting to pair.
3. Pairing
Press the top button. The light will turn green, and you are done!
This is called “open mesh”. To be exact, the intercom is now paired with any compatible intercom nearby.
If a stranger riding nearby has the same setting, your intercom may connect to theirs too. Occasionally, you may hear other people’s voices, lol.
It is possible to make a private connection, but this is the easiest method.
When both intercoms are blinking green, the pairing is complete.

Just turn the large dial.
Charging
If you ride for several days, you will need to charge it. The battery lasts up to 15 hours of continuous use, so charging about once every two days should be enough. A full charge takes about 2.5 hours.
Open the rubber cover at the bottom and charge it with a USB-C cable.
If you want to remove it from the helmet, first remove the outer rubber cover, then unplug the cable. Pull the unit upward and the whole body comes off.
In general, however, it is best to charge it while it is still attached to the helmet.
