April was a great month at RIDE TOURISM —
and two rides in particular reminded us why we do what we do.

From North America — A Coastal Ride from Tokyo
One of our April guests flew in all the way from North America
and was staying in central Tokyo.
Despite being based in the city, they made the trip down to our
shop specifically to ride along the Shonan coastline —
and honestly, we couldn’t think of a better reason.
From Tokyo, it’s just about 60 minutes to our shop by train.
Within minutes of picking up the bike, they were cruising
along Route 134 with the Pacific Ocean on one side
and the sound of waves in the air.
No traffic jams. No tour buses. Just the open road and the sea.

From Europe — coming from Kamakura
Our second April guests came from Europe and were staying
in Kamakura — one of Japan’s most iconic destinations,
and conveniently, just a short ride from our shop.
They popped in for a full-day rental and explored the
Shonan coast, stopping at local spots that you’d
never find on a typical tour.
If you’re staying in Kamakura, you’re practically
at our doorstep — it’s less than 20 minutes away by train.
Why Riders from Around the World Come to RIDE TOURISM
Every month, we welcome riders from the US, Europe,
Australia, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
What they all have in common? They want to experience
Japan the way locals do — on two wheels, at their own pace,
with the freedom to go wherever the road takes them.
Whether you’re based in Tokyo or staying in Kamakura,
RIDE TOURISM is your gateway to the best riding in the Shonan area.
