Sample routes below — every detail can be adjusted to fit your trip.

🌊 1. Shonan, Kamakura & Miura Route

📏 ~100–150 km 🟢 Beginner ¥15,000

A relaxed, scenic introduction to riding in Japan. This route follows the coastline through Shonan, into the historic streets of Kamakura, and around the Miura Peninsula — fishing ports, ocean views, and easy-going roads throughout. The perfect choice if it’s your first time riding in Japan, or if you just want a relaxed day with plenty of stops.

⛩️ 2. Hakone Course

📏 ~120–140 km 🟢🟡 Beginner – Intermediate ¥20,000

All the highlights of Hakone from our Izu & Hakone Long Tour — Lake Ashi, the floating torii gate of Hakone Shrine, and the volcanic valley of Owakudani — without the long detour down the Izu Skyline. A relaxed mountain day with plenty of sightseeing and fewer kilometers.

🏯 3. Nishi-Sho (West Shonan) Course

📏 ~80–100 km 🟢🟡 Beginner – Intermediate ¥20,000

A short but scenic loop along the coastline west of Shonan, taking in Odawara Castle and the panoramic hilltop viewpoint of Shonandaira. Great as a half-day ride, or combined with another short course for a fuller day.

⛴️ 4. Chiba Short Course (Round-Trip Ferry)

📏 ~100–130 km 🟢🟡 Beginner – Intermediate ¥30,000

A compact version of our Chiba Boso tour — cross Tokyo Bay by ferry, enjoy the southern Boso coastline and Flower Line, then take the ferry back the same way instead of looping north via the Aqua-Line. Two relaxing sea crossings and a shorter day in the saddle.

🗼 5. Chiba Short Course (No Nojima Lighthouse)

📏 ~220–250 km 🟢🟡 Beginner – Intermediate ¥25,000

Our full Chiba Boso Peninsula loop — ferry crossing, Boso Flower Line, Futtsu Cape, and Umi-Hotaru — with the southern detour to Cape Nojima Lighthouse removed. Still a big day out, but slightly more manageable in terms of distance and time.

🏞️ 6. Okutama Course

📏 ~180–220 km 🟡🔴 Intermediate – Advanced ¥25,000

Just an hour or two from central Tokyo lies one of the Kanto region’s best-kept riding secrets. The Okutama Course winds through deep forested valleys along the Tama River, past the turquoise waters of Lake Okutama, and over technical mountain roads favored by serious riders. Think “Tokyo, but make it mountains” — twisty, green, and refreshingly far from the crowds.

🗻 7. Fuji Five Lakes Course

📏 ~200–240 km 🟡🔴 Intermediate – Advanced ¥30,000

Circle Japan’s most iconic mountain. This route heads through Hakone and Gotemba toward the Fuji Five Lakes region, looping around Lake Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako with Mt. Fuji as your constant companion. On clear days, this is one of the most photogenic rides in all of Japan — a bucket-list route for any visiting rider.
