This is from last year, but I visited three different motorcycle-related events, so here\u2019s a quick recap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 18 \u2013 HondaGO BIKE MEETING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As soon as I entered the venue, there were booths from various manufacturers lined up alongside Honda\u2019s current lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest highlight was definitely the newly released CB1000F.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I prefer the more classic naked style of the CB1300SF.
That said\u2026 I might still like my current CB1000SF the most. (laugh)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CB650R is actually a model we\u2019re planning to add to our rental lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems like my favorite might actually be the Rebel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also one of our rental candidates.
Having a 250cc model with an E-Clutch could be really helpful for riders who aren\u2019t fully confident yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, since some customers want to try cruisers, the Rebel 250 E-Clutch would be a perfect all-in-one solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in my student days, I used to ride a motard, so I really appreciate the practicality of taller bikes.
From a usability standpoint, if I were to buy a current model, this would probably be it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, the test ride wait times were way too long, so I didn\u2019t get a chance to ride anything\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, it was a very valuable and enjoyable experience overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 1 \u2013 Rebel & GB350 Meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The CB1000SF in the front is mine, and the GB350 in the back belongs to my friend H.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time the venue was the Hakone Turnpike, so of course we rode there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hakone in November was freezing cold\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we arrived, there were tons of customized Rebels on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event mainly focused on Rebels, but I\u2019d say about 30\u201340% of the bikes were GB350 and CL250 models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H once again spent a lot of time checking out Rebels at aftermarket vendor booths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also a bike from a newer brand that caught H\u2019s attention\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were plenty of customized GB350s as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I thought this one was the coolest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place goes to H\u2019s GB\u2026(which is almost completely stock. (laugh)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event was mainly focused on cars, so I\u2019ll just briefly touch on motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Honda booth was quite large and seemed especially popular within the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It really feels like both cars and motorcycles are moving toward an electric future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m not against electric vehicles at all, but the history of cars and motorcycles is also the history of engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it\u2019s a bit sad to see everything shifting entirely toward EV development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With electric platforms, even newer manufacturers can easily enter the market\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also a CB1000F track-spec model on display\u2014it looked amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this era of electrification\u2026 a book about carburetors. (laugh)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m still reading it, and it\u2019s very interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m actually planning to install an aftermarket carburetor on my CB1000SF in the future, so I\u2019m doing some early research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
