The late-June rainy season left our booking calendar a little emptier than we&#8217;d hoped, which was a shame for anyone hoping to ride under clear skies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But here&#8217;s the silver lining: while same-week bookings were slow, we were flooded with <strong>quotes, inquiries, and consultations for autumn and winter<\/strong>. People are already planning their big Japan motorcycle adventures months in advance \u2014 and one request came up far more than any other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By a wide margin, the most popular inquiry this month was the <strong>one-way rental between Tokyo and Osaka<\/strong> (in both directions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why &#8220;Tokyo to Osaka&#8221; One-Way Rentals Are So Popular<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A one-way motorcycle rental means you pick up your bike in one city and drop it off in another \u2014 no backtracking, no riding the same roads twice. Kyoto&#8217;s temples, Osaka&#8217;s food scene, and the open roads in between make this one of the most rewarding rides in all of Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Does a Tokyo\u2013Osaka One-Way Rental Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our one-way service to the Osaka area currently starts from <strong>\u00a599,000<\/strong> on top of the motorcycle rental fee. Pricing varies depending on the exact pick-up and drop-off locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s the part that makes it a fantastic deal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude9a <strong>Our truck can carry up to 2 motorcycles at once.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That means if you&#8217;re traveling with a friend, your partner, or your spouse, the delivery cost is shared between two bikes. <strong>That works out to roughly \u00a550,000 per person<\/strong> for a one-way trip all the way to Osaka or Kyoto \u2014 a genuinely great value for the convenience it offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So gather a riding buddy, a couple, or a duo of friends, and the economics suddenly look very attractive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Long Do Riders Usually Rent For?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Tokyo\u2013Osaka journeys, most riders book their motorcycle for somewhere between <strong>4 and 10 days<\/strong>. The &#8220;L&#8221; stands for <strong>License<\/strong>, because this bike was originally developed for driving schools. As a result, it&#8217;s a slightly simplified version of the standard NC750X:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\udda5\ufe0f <strong>Monochrome display<\/strong> (the NC750X has a full-color screen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udd25 <strong>No grip heaters<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udee1\ufe0f <strong>Sturdy engine guards<\/strong> \u2014 great peace of mind in the rare event of a tip-over<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NC750L Pricing \u2014 New &#8220;Economy Adventure Class&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ll cover the NC750L in detail in an upcoming blog post, but here&#8217;s a preview.
